Lands
- The amount of Land a county possesses in Classic Warshire generally dictates the strength of that county's economy. Land can be acquired through attacking another county or exploring with Scouts.
Land Types
Plains
- Free Plains are primarily used to create housing for a county's population and military, though Blacksmiths may be researched later and Fortifications can be built for extra defense. It will cost gold and stone to construct any of the Plains buildings and it will cost 2 coal and 2 iron per building per tick for upkeep on those buildings.
Forests
- Free Forests allow for the constructs of Lumber Mills, Stone Quarries, and Fortifications. It will cost gold and lumber to to construct any of the Forests buildings and it will cost 2 stone per building per tick for upkeep on those buildings
Mountains
- Free Mountains are used for the construction of Iron, Coal, and Gold mines. It will cost gold, iron, and coal to construct any of the Mountains buildings and it will cost 4 lumber per building per tick for upkeep on those buildings.
Gaining Lands
Exploring
- Exploring is the only method for gaining land in the Noob Mode phase of the game and it remains common for some time thereafter until it becomes prohibitively expensive. Exploring is performed by Scouts, which can explore 1 land per tick for every 5 scouts trained. A player is able to explore up to 10% of each land type per tick with a minimum of 30 available for each type. The cost to explore a set amount of land is proportional to the amount of that particular land type owned.
Attacking
- Attacking allows a player to capture lands only, resources only, or lands and resources at different rates depending on the attack type used. There are three attack types:
- Annex - Captures 10% of the target's land of the type specified by the attacker.
- Normal - Captures 5% of the target's land of the type specified by the attacker and 5% of the target's Gold and Resources.
- Pillage - Captures 10% of target's Gold and Resources.
