Monsters
Monsters are the newest addition to the game. Depending on the type of monster you have, they can cause any combination of damage to a target's buildings, population or resources.
Your available heroes are used to hunt for monsters. Your chance of finding one is completely random, and could quite possibly take dozens of tries before being successful.
Monsters are classified into 3 tiers, with 1 being the lowest and weakest, and 3 being the best. In addition, each monster can gain levels, much like a hero, which makes it's devastation stats increase. The only way to capture a Tier 3 monster is by using a level 21 melee or ranged hero, or a level 11 magic hero. Using a high-level hero does not guarantee finding a T3 monster, but you're guaranteed not to if you use a lower leveled one.
Training:
Every tick you're able to train your monster, by feeding it some of your population. You can use up to 10,000 citizens, for a max gain of 200 experience for your monster. However, doing so causes your loyalty to decrease by 10, every time you feed it. Experience is needed to gain levels.
Attacking:
If you attack a target with your monster, and they do not have a hero in defense, it will rampage through their county, doing x amount of damage, depending on it's stats. If they do have a hero defending, your monster simply fights their hero. Either way, your monster gains experience for fighting. The higher your target's power is, and whether your target is bigger or small in power than yourself, determines the amount of experience, with 2000 being the maximum. After an attack, your monster will take 5 ticks to return home, before he can train or attack again.
The number of bouts your monster will fight is dependent on it's tier; one bout per tier. This is selectable when you first target your opponent.
Defense:
If you have a hero assigned to defend your homeland, it will fight any monster that attacks. As long as it's HP doesn't reach or exceed zero during the fight, it will thwart the monster from doing damage to your county. If the monster defeats your hero, it will cause devastation for the remaining bouts.
Executing your monster:
If you have a hero in defense, you can safely execute your monster; which will allow you to search for another one. If you do not have a hero defending, there's a chance your monster won't die quietly, and will attack you back. Once executed, there's no way of retrieving it later
