Lands
Lands are a crucial resource in Warshire and you should make sure you regard them as such. Lands determine the amount of buildings you can build, and the amount of buildings you lose when attacked. Land by-far has the cheapest upkeep of any unit or division, and as such you should be continually buying them to meet the demands of your kingdom.
Land is important in regards to your Power score, located on the View Kingdoms (left sidebar) screen. It ranks just under Units and Buildings. Pretty much any given building will take away 1 of its given landtype resources.
There are three types of lands:
Plains
Plains are the basic landtype, upon which Houses and Massive Houses can be built for increasing your citizen count, as well as any other basic forgery.
Forest
Forests are the only land type which allows you to make a Lumber Mill or Stone Quarry. Remember to make Lumber mills and purchase Forests close together, as both are crucial to maintaining the flow of Gold Mines.
Mountains
Mountains are where your mines come from. Coal, Iron and Gold. Coal and Iron are plentiful, but Gold is your lifeblood. Therefor, always pump at least 1/4 to 1/3 of your Tick money into Mountains per 3/4 or 2/3 of your tick going to Gold Mines.
